Mr. Nandan Nandi joined Tata Steel in 1995 as Senior Officer (Accounts) after completing his Graduation in Commerce and Cost & Management Accounting from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

He has managed different areas of Finance and Accounts which includes Receivables, Payables, Banking, Factoring, Compliance, Payroll, Cost, MIS & Reporting at multiple locations and divisions which includes Jharia Division, Tubes Division, Iron making Division, Marketing Finance.

He was also responsible for the Finance & Accounts function of Tata Steel (Asia) Hong Kong Ltd. for a period of one year during 2011-12. In 2014 he was appointed as Head (Finance & Accounts), Hooghly Metcoke Division of Tata Steel in the role of Financial Controller where he played an important role in value creation for the division.

In 2018 he was deputed to Kalimati Global Shared Services Limited, a step-down subsidiary of Tata Steel where he played a significant role in Finance process transformation through digitization and automation in Order to Cash area of Tata Steel.

Mr. Nandi is on deputation to TMILL from Tata Steel Limited for a duration of 3 years. He is appointed as Chief Financial Officer of TMILL with effect from 16th November, 2021 and as Non-Executive Director of TKM India with effect from the same date. He is also a Chairman of TKM's Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Member of Audit & Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.
