The transformative approach taken by Government of India (GOI) through their signature initiatives such as Maritime India Vision (MIV) 2030 and Gati Shakti , prompted TMILL under its Green Logistics initiative to venture into separate vertical under the name and style of Inland Waterways & Multimodal Logistics (IWML). The objective is to provide customized cost-effective multimodal logistics solution to the industry with a focus on Inland Waterways and Coastal shipping, thus striving towards establishing a sustainable Supply Chain Solution.
- Movement of bulk, break bulk & containerized commodities through suitable barges including managing the port logistics in the Indo - Bangladesh Protocol (IBP) Route.
- Forward & backward integration through feasible modal mix, terminal operation , storage along with delivery of last mile needs of customers.
- Management of end-to-end cross border projects.
- Catering North-East Trade Lanes including Nepal and Bhutan through riverine route.
- Management of multimodal & waterways operation in NW-1, NW-2, NW-5, and short-sea & coastal waters.
- Management of lighterage, topping up operations through a competent team well conversant with the safety, commercial, statutory and regulatory needs as applicable for the midstream cargo operation at the commercial anchorages including Sagar, Diamond Harbour, Sandheads, Andaman in East Coast along with the West Coast of India.
